How to apply for jee main 2015


                                      

JEE Main is nothing but AIEEE given a new name since 2013.But,there is a difference that only
marks obtained in AIEEE were considered for admission into NIT"s,IIIT"s,CFTI"s,SFTI"s  and other
private institutions.But ,now,40% weight-age is given to the intermediate marks and rest 60%
to the performance in JEE Main.Every year the process of registration starts at around last
week of October or first week of November and last date is mid December.The candidate has to fill online form and upload the soft copies of the documents like class 10 board certificate(age verification),left hand thumb impression and signature of the candidate.The size  of these are
specified on the site.Then,the candidate has to pay through E-challan(in ICICI bank) or online
through SBI MOPS>The candidate has to download the admit card from the JEE Main site.The
exam is conducted in both offline and online mode.The pen and paper commences on preferably first Sunday of April from 9:30 am to 12:30pm.The online test can be given on dates
announced by CBSE on various dates among which one can be chosen suitably by the candidate.
The score in the JEE Main is announced in first week of May(as in 2014) and the final result is
announced in first week of July.Then,the candidate can opt for counseling for admission into various NIT`s,IIIT`s,CFTI`s,SFTI`s and other private institutions as per his AIR (All India Rank) in the exam.Certain JEE Main score is set criteria for different categories viz. General,OBC,SC/ST so that a person can write JEE Advanced.In 2014,115 was general,74 for OBC,SC-54 and ST-47 cutoff.
