GREEN CORRIDOR PRODIGY

GREEN CORRIDOR PRODIGY

HUMANITY, still survives in this era which can be shown by 27-year-old techie organs donation, "Across the States".

The mother of a 27-year-old IT professional declared Brain dead, who donated his organs to ill-patients "across the states"one of the beneficiary includes 31-year-old man from Salem admitted with a serious liver condition, in a private hospital in Coimbatore.

The man, was seriously injured in an accident and was declared Brain dead in Chennai and even medical teams, there, made all arrangements to harvest the organs, but there was a serious problem,i.e., these organs are to be harvested as soon as possible to respective beneficiary" to move organs, through the city's chaotic streets to make way for ambulances to carry the Heart and Liver.

There were two Green corridors been made, one of these is from Chennai's Raj-iv Gandhi Hospital to Apollo Hospital for the heart transplant and another to airport. The heart was harvested first and then liver was taken to airport. These all become possible with complete cooperation of-
"S. Sivanandam, Deputy Commissioner, Traffic planning, Chennai city police", and
his team. The green corridor which has been made for liver, set up its journey about 22 km. in 18 minutes covering 24 major traffic signals in those chaotic streets.

Finally, Liver reached to Coimbatore, to that 31-year-old man, and was completely harvested with in few hours, at Kovai Medical Cent re and Hospital, in Coimbatore.

Here it shows, if someone is in need, "WE THE INDIANS", can risk our life to fullfill that need, as, during these operation-
"Two police escort vehicles accompanied the ambulances and had three man including a sub-inspector posted at all major traffic signals in between to coordinate the operation" and performed there duties with a great effort.
